Nicholas Scott Lachey, a member of 98 Degrees, was born on November 9, 1973 in Harlan, Kentucky. Nicknamed Hollywood and Slider, he studied Sports Medicine at Miami University in Ohio before joining 98 Degrees. He was always torn between his love of sports and music, but it appeared music had won this time. After joining the group along with Jeff and Justin, Nick realized that his little brother, Drew would fit perfectly in this group. So after a few phone calls, plane flights, and tons of miles driven Drew became part of the group. | ||||||||||||||||

Nick is the lead singer of the group 98 Degrees. Nick likes Boys II Men, Sade, Jodeci, Brian McKnight, and Take 6. His favorite song is "Cherish The Day" by Sade. He likes Skyline Chili, steak, pizza, and barbeque, and yoohoo. He likes the color red and wearing Phat Farm clothes. He enjoys watching the Cincinnati Reds, the Bengals and the movie Die Hard.
